GUYS! How cool is this DIY Halloween Planter?!
You probably know by now that I’m a sucker for Halloween. I’m also a sucker for succulents AND spray paint. So, why not combine all three?
I picked up this jack-to-lantern bucket for 97 cents.
To make the planter, I first drilled a few small holes into the bottom of the bucket. I don’t have much of a green thumb, but word on the street is that your soil needs to drain. So, I used a drill and a small drill bit to make some holes.
This is where it gets good, guys. I found the best spray paint EVER! How did I not know this existed? It’s black with gold sparkles! GOLD SPARKLES, people!!
I used my fancy new spray paint to paint the pumpkin. I needed to coats to cover up all the orange.
This spray paint is SO rad. The pictures don’t do it justice at all.
Once the paint was dry, I simply filled the bucket with soil and added my little aloe vera plant.
Isn’t it so cute? I name him Jack…because I’m super original.
XOXO
